Choose the route that fits your situation, then send a little context or complete a short form. Apex will recommend the most useful next step in writing. If a call would help, we can arrange one.

Qualifications rarely cover the practical side of delivery: planning, setting up, managing groups, adapting and reflecting. Apex's focused 4-week mentoring programme builds that craft, for individual coaches or a whole staff group.
For coaches, teachers, TAs, apprentices and PE / school sport staff who want to improve confidence, organisation and delivery quality. Starts with a self-assessment so the support is focused on you.
A short self-assessment before the programme begins, so the support is focused where it's needed most.
"Better delivery starts before the session begins."
Minimum standards, what good delivery looks like, and setting the session up properly before pupils arrive.
"Good planning makes delivery feel calmer, clearer and easier to control."
Planning with purpose: structure, space, equipment, timings, transitions, safety and preparation.
"A good session is not one that goes perfectly. It is one the coach can adapt when needed."
Progressing and adapting activities, managing behaviour, and supporting mixed ability groups and SEND.
"The best coaches do not just deliver. They review, adjust and improve."
Reflection, professional standards, action planning and continued improvement.
A check-in email 1 to 2 weeks after completion, prompting you to review your action plan and note early progress.
You receive the 4-week programme, practical resources for planning, setup, behaviour and adapting, an action plan for continued improvement, and the post-programme check-in email. Optional add-on: Observation & Feedback, including live observation, video review, session-plan review and written feedback, priced separately.
Request a recommendationThree routes for schools and providers, depending on whether you want to understand your staff's development needs, deliver the programme, or both. The combined package is the preferred route.

Once you're happy, we confirm the scope and get started.
These extend the core offers once initial work is done. They are not part of the first conversation.

Apex Sports Consultancy & Mentoring helps schools, providers and coaches strengthen PE, school sport and delivery quality. We pair practical consultancy, reviewing where you are and planning what's next, with mentoring that develops the people doing the delivery.
Apex is led by Sam Vicker, a UEFA B qualified coach with 15+ years' experience across grassroots, academy-linked and senior football, including first-team management in semi-professional football. Alongside that, Sam has extensive school sport and PE experience, and a track record of developing staff, building coaching systems and running the operations behind them.
We keep it honest and useful. Apex tells you straight whether and how we can help, and recommends the support that actually fits, not the biggest package.
